IPTV Setup on Enigma2 Receivers

Step 1: Obtain Your Enigma2 Script Command

Check your subscription confirmation email. You will find a unique script command specifically for Enigma2 devices. This command will automatically configure the IPTV service on your receiver.

Step 2: Find Your Device's IP Address

On your Enigma2 receiver, navigate to Menu → Information → Network. Note down the IP address shown (e.g., 192.168.1.xxx). You will need this to connect to your device.

Step 3: Connect Using an SSH Client

On your computer, open an SSH client:

- Windows: Download and use PuTTY

- macOS / Linux: Open the Terminal app

Enter your receiver's IP address and connect on port 23 (Telnet) or port 22 (SSH).

Step 4: Log In to Your Receiver

When prompted, enter the login credentials for your receiver. The default username is usually 'root' and the default password is often blank (just press Enter) or 'dreambox'.

Step 5: Paste and Execute the Installation Command

Once logged in, paste the unique script command from your confirmation email into the terminal. Press Enter to execute it. The script will automatically download and configure the IPTV service.

Tip: In PuTTY, right-click to paste. In macOS Terminal, use Cmd+V.

Step 6: Wait for Installation to Complete

The script will run for a few moments, downloading the channel list and configuring your receiver. Do not close the terminal or turn off your receiver during this process.

Step 7: Restart Your Enigma2 Device

After the script completes, restart your receiver. Go to Menu → Standby / Restart → Restart GUI. This will apply the new channel configuration.

Step 8: Find and Enjoy Your Channels

After the restart, check your TV channel list or Bouquet list. You will find all the IPTV channels organized and ready to watch. Navigate through the categories and enjoy!
